I am the Engagement Manager for Civic Initiatives, a consulting company who works exclusively with public sector clients to transform government services, with a specialization in procurement program assessment and redesign. In addition to helping state and local government think strategically about procurement, we also work directly with procurement shops to help them deliver tactically. At Civic Initiatives, I am actively involved in the assessment, analysis and deliverable generation for client engagements.
I am a 10 years veteran of state government having worked with the State of Texas and State of California. With the Council on Competitive Government, I evaluated the effectiveness of state purchasing and contracts, and was responsible for taking identified opportunities from concept to contract and helped to develop metrics by which the contracts could be measured, maximizing contract compliance.
I am certified as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Texas Procurement Manager.
