Procurement professional with a true passion for the industry. With eight years in the public procurement sector and over ten years of experience in the private business sector I bring a different perspective to my role in public procurement.
I currently serve as a Grants Procurement Analyst for Lee County Board of County Commissioners. In addition, I am a Certified Public Procurement Buyer through the UPPCC.
I am actively involved in local, state and national public procurement associations where I have served as the Scholarship Committee Chair for Gulf Coast Association of Procurement Official’s (GCAGPO), Secretary of Gulf Coast Association of Governmental Purchasing Official’s (GCAGPO); and I am currently serving as President of Gulf Coast Association of Governmental Purchasing Official’s (GCAGPO); I have also served as the Trade Show Committee Chair for Florida Association of Public Procurement Officer’s (FAPPO) and Education Chair for Florida Association of Public Procurement Officer’s (FAPPO) . I currently serve on the Awards Committee for the Institute for Public Procurement (NIGP). I have received Florida Association of Public Procurement Officer’s (FAPPO)’s 2020 Rising Star Award.
I am a strong and passionate procurement professional who has been mentored by individuals who have decades of knowledge within the procurement profession. My background and experience in both the private and public sector brings a fresh, energized perspective to procurement. My goal is to foster the enrichment of the procurement profession and mentor incoming procurement professionals.
