I love my profession and work for the best agency in Arizona - it's wonderful to be able to give back to the community in which I live. I have a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University as well as an Associates degree in General Studies from Mesa Community College. And thanks to the two best mentors a girl could have - both at Chandler and Mesa - I have had the opportunity to be involved in some really wonderful organizations during my procurement career. I am currently a member of the National Institute for Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), Arizona Capitol Chapter of NIGP (AZ-NIGP, where I am a past 2-term president), the Arizona S.A.V.E. cooperative network and the National Association for Purchasing Card Professionals (NAPCP).
In my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating & camping, traveling and reading as much as I can. I have a passion for helping and enjoy paying it forward any time I can. Charitable organizations I am currently involved in on a personal level include the Mesa United Way, the Phoenix Children's Heart Hospital and the Alzheimer's Association.
I'd like to eventually work for a non-profit organization where I'm able to continue to give back to my community.
