I am currently the Procurement Director for the City of Plantation. I have been working in the Public Procurement/Purchasing profession for the past twenty (20) years. In that time I have earned the following designations and certification(s) Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM), Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN), a Certified Procurement Professional (NIGP-CPP), and Public Procurement Associated (NIGP-PPA), and specialization designation in Construction procurement. In addition, I have numerous certificates of completion relating to the Procurement profession and is always actively seeking to broaden my knowledge by continuing my education through continuing education courses and seminars.
I am an active member of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP), and the Southeast Florida Chapter of NIGP (SEFL NIGP). I also currently sit as an board member, committee member, and officer for the mentioned Professional Organization.
I have a passion for Procurement and believe that the process and outcome should always end as a “win/win” for both parties, and will always obtain this goal within the State, County, and Local Laws.
