Stacy Adams, NIGP-CPP, CPPO, CPPB, is an experienced procurement professional employed with the State of South Carolina, Division of Procurement Services. With over 20 years of experience, her skills represent governmental purchasing at the county, state agency and state-wide levels. She currently serves as the Deputy Chief Procurement Officer and Director of Statewide Sourcing for the State of South Carolina over the State Term Contracting Teams.
Stacy instructs courses as an NIGP Certified Instructor and is actively involved in content builds for the NIGP Pathways program. She also instructs courses on behalf of the South Carolina State Fiscal Accountability Authority helping procurement professionals throughout the state learn various aspects of the profession.
An active member of SCAGPO (the local Chapter of NIGP), Stacy has served the organization in a variety of roles for many years and was awarded the title of Buyer of the Year for 2014 and was the recipient of the B.D. Bland Distinguished Service Award in 2018. She was most recently honored to be selected as the recipient of the James H. Barnes Award in 2023 for her contributions to the Procurement Profession and the entity she serves. She now serves on the Past President's Council. She also serves NIGP on the Governing Board.
