Sam currently serves as the Director of Procurement for Hinds Community College. He has 21 years of purchasing experience, including 18 in public purchasing, with the last 14 at Hinds. Prior to his stint at Hinds, he was a Purchasing Manager at The University of Mississippi Medical Center for 4 years.
Sam is a past President (2014) of the Mississippi Association of Governmental Purchasing & Property Agents, (MAGPPA) having previously served as 2nd VP in 2009 and 2017.
