Sharita L. Bryant has served the Commonwealth of Virginia since 2001 . Before joining the public service, she was employed by the No. 2 home improvement chain, Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse. Since the launch of her public service career, Sharita has held progressive positions in the procurement process and has had the extreme benefit of being mentored and employed by national awarded Public Procurement Professionals.
Sharita is an active member of both Virginia Chapters of the National Institution of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP); Capital Area Purchasing Association (CAPA).
Sharita has a passion for professional development, is eager to discuss, learn, and implement innovative business processes, and most of all enjoys sharing her public procurement experiences with others.
Sharita is an advocate professionally and in her community. She has served currently served on the local and county level of Henrico County Council (HCCPTA).
