Our P-Card Administrator resides in the Purchasing office. Our Buyer is our main Administrator and the Purchasing Agent takes over when the Buyer is out.

Our Pcard Administrator (PA) also resides in the Purchasing Office. My office was delegated the function, after the person in financial services who was the PA for years retired, but without a resource to handle it. My admin took on the responsibilities for about 2 years. Policies were written to incorporate purhcasing requirements (imagine that!) but training was lacking. It took a bad review of the program the APA to allow a hire 1 year ago. With a dedicated PA we are in good shape now with about 230 cardholders throughout the state.
