NIGP Public Procurement Competency Framework

What is it

The Public Procurement Competency Framework (PPCF) is a comprehensive, universal guide for professional development that focuses on the critical competencies you need to be a successful and sought-after public procurement professional. The PPCF has 7 focus areas comprised of 33 individual competencies all of which are critical to public procurement.

Each competency is based on a specific subject matter and taught in a modular fashion using a variety of learning tactics from self-paced online courses to group assignments, case studies, videos, and experiential activities. The PPCF gives you ultimate flexibility to design your learning and the option to pick and choose which competencies to focus on at different stages of your career.
