Lisa has been serving the Polk County Community as the Lakeland Area Mass Transit District's Contract/Grant Specialist since December 2011. As a former Procurement Agent of the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority, Lisa offers over 12 years of public procurement experience with an additional 10 years private sector purchasing and contract management.
As a Contract Specialist, Lisa has dedicated herself to all aspect of procurement. She developed a method for tracking contracts, purchase order and budgets, in the absence of a robust ERP system. She has developed a simple methodology for calculating DBE Goals and the reporting participation under grant funded contract. As a Grant Administrator, she has developed a system for tracking all grant awards and expenditures, necessary for reporting the annual Schedule of Expenses by Federal Award (SEFA).
