My procurement career began in 2006 with the St. Mary's County Metropolitan Commission, transitioning from Accounts Payable/Fiscal Admin to Purchasing Agent. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Business in May 2007 and the CPPB in November 2008.
The Commission is the local authority for water and wastewater service. We operate totally on user fees and grants and loans (for infrastructure construction).
