Jon has over 10 years of procurement experience in the public sector and is currently a Buyer II with the County of Placer. He has experience with various facets of the procurement process including contract awards for commodities, services and professional services as the result of competitive Invitation for Bids, Requests for Proposals, and public projects. Jon is familiar with a wide variety of commodities and has direct experience with presenting purchasing-related requests to a governing board for approval.
Jon obtained the professional certification of Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) in May of 2008 and recently recertified for another five years. Jon has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications from California Lutheran University and enjoys spending as much free time as possible out on the links.
